New U Therapy Center & Family Services, Inc. seeks an Independent Contractor Functional Nutritionist to support NeurishU, our innovative Functional & Metabolic Psychiatry program. Work includes comprehensive nutrition assessments, personalized plans, and coordination with clinicians to address root causes of mental health concerns.

You’ll deliver telehealth and in-person sessions, maintain thorough documentation in the EHR, and contribute to patient education and ongoing wellness strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition or related field.
• Formal education, certification, or advanced training in functional nutrition and/or functional medicine.
• Certified Functional Nutritionist Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing functional nutrition services.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth preferred.
• Malpractice insurance.
• If dietitian, proof of active license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive functional nutrition exams and ongoing consultations.
• Develop individualized nutrition treatment plans and follow-up schedules.
• Review clients’ nutrition, lifestyle, and health history.
• Educate clients on nutrition’s role in mental health and overall wellness.
• Provide telehealth and/or in-person services within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with NeurishU psychiatric providers for integrated care.
• Document findings and progress in the EHR within 24 hours.
