Job summary

Okify, a Barcelona-based PropTech startup, is seeking a Software Engineer to own end-to-end features across client portals and automation engines. You will collaborate with utility and insurance partners to establish and troubleshoot integrations, while solving architectural challenges alongside the founders in a small team.

Based in or near Barcelona with a hybrid setup (1 day in-office), you will wear multiple hats, participate in releases, and push for scalable, robust solutions using RESTful

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering.
• +1 years of software development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and clean integration patterns.
• Proficient with Git workflows and CLI.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English (B2+).
• Based in or near Barcelona with a 1 day/week in-office hybrid setup.

Okify is a PropTech startup transforming how individuals and businesses manage utility services (electricity, gas, water, internet, etc.)—from automated contracting and centralized billing to intelligent tariff optimization.

Technology sits at the core of our strategy: we build high-reliability integrations and automation tools that eliminate operational friction in the real estate sector. As we scale, we are looking for ambitious Software Engineers to take end-to-end ownership of our platform architecture, solve complex integration challenges, and directly influence our product strategy.

What You Will Do

• Build End-to-End Features: Develop, test, and ship clean full-stack features across our client portals and automation engines.
• Engage with External Partners: Collaborate directly with our partners (utility/insurance providers) and third-party vendors to establish and troubleshoot integrations.
• Step Up Across the Stack: In a small team everyone covers essential ground—whether that means jumping into a release cycle, triaging an urgent operational issue, or participating in architectural discussions alongside the founders.

What We Look For
