Caravelo, based in Barcelona, is seeking a Full Stack Developer focused on Java backend for our SaaS platform in fintech and traveltech. You’ll design, build and maintain scalable systems; most work will be backend, with some UI touchpoints via Vue and AI-assisted coding.

Formación

• Extensive Java backend experience and understanding of the product development cycle.
• Experience designing large-scale backend solutions in cloud environments (AWS).
• Frontend concepts (Vue) to collaborate on UI features using AI-assisted approaches.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and microservices; awareness of security and data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java
• Build and evolve public and internal APIs with strong security and data practices
• Apply Hexagonal Architecture for modular, maintainable codebase
• Ensure observability and performance with Datadog and logs/traces
• Collaborate with frontend team on Vue.js features and AI-assisted UI work
• Create technical docs and support cross-team collaboration
