Job summary

Roche is seeking a Custom Software Developer to design, build, and maintain robust digital solutions that power global healthcare innovation. You’ll work in agile squads, combining hands-on full-stack development with strong engineering discipline across the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing resilient microservices, applying TDD, optimizing databases, and driving CI/CD using modern tools. Collaboration and AI-assisted development help accelerate delivery within CoPs.

Qualifications

• Backend mastery with hands-on Java and Python development.
• Frontend core: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL; RESTful microservices experience.
• TDD, automated tests, and clean code principles.
• Git workflows and Linux/Bash automation.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development of microservices and web apps.
• Apply TDD and automated testing for reliability and security.
• Design/optimize PostgreSQL schemas and data handling.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and operational excellence.
• Support CSV-compliant domain validation and documentation.
• Collaborate and review code; explore AI-assisted tooling.
