Vancast is seeking a Software Engineer in Barcelona to join a small, autonomous team building a private streaming platform. You will ship features end to end across frontend and backend in a single monorepo, review peers, design interfaces, and own what you commit.

The role emphasizes self-direction and hands-on ownership in a fast-moving environment. We offer a remote-first setup with one or two days in person, standard 9–6 hours, and a full-time contrato indefinido.

Formación

• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript; this should not be a learning project.
• Experience with Node.js REST APIs, request lifecycle, auth and authorization.
• Strong front-end depth in a component-based framework (Angular, React or Vue).
• MySQL or similar relational DB with ORM experience (Sequelize preferred).
• Comfortable in a large, existing codebase you didn’t write.
• Writes clean, maintainable code and designs usable interfaces in English.
• Self-directed with the ability to unblock and decide trade-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Ship features end to end from UI to services and production.
• Work across a large monorepo spanning many services and apps.
• Review peers' code and have yours reviewed; design interfaces too.
• Collaborate openly on ambiguous problems with concrete proposals.
