Job summary

REWE digital Spain in Málaga is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join an agile product team building B2B invoicing solutions for the REWE group. You will develop, maintain and improve complex microservices backed by Java/Spring, Angular frontend, and modern DevOps practices.

You will participate in architectural decisions, collaborate across product roles, and contribute to code quality and testing culture in a cross-functional international team.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Containerized applications using Docker and deployment to Kubernetes environment.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Working experience in Agile product development practices.
• Excellence in code quality standards.

REWE digital Spain is located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga. As a team of 70 colleagues, we drive innovation for REWE digital in Germany.

As a Full stack Developer, you will support an agile product development team in the creation of modern software solutions that correctly generate, validate and provide B2B invoices within the REWE group. Therefore, you and your team are responsible for the accurate processing of invoices totaling more than 20 billion euros per year and to ensure the liquidity of the business units inside the REWE group.

What are we looking for:

• Minimum 6 – 7 years of extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with Kafka
• Good understanding of microservices architecture
• Containerized applications using Docker and deployment to K8s environment
• Good understanding of relational database concepts
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills
• Working experience in Agile product development practices
• Excellence in code quality standards
• Foster a code review and testing culture
