Joppy is seeking Senior Full-Stack Developers to join a hybrid Madrid team. You will design, build, and refine a serverless, enterprise-grade platform for international clients, using Node.js/TypeScript on the backend and React.js on the frontend.

You’ll work in small, agile squads and contribute to architecture decisions while mentoring juniors. Requirements include 4+ years in full-stack development, startup/SAAS experience, and strong English communication.

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience with Node.js/TypeScript and React.js.
• Experience in startups, SAAS or product companies is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with AI-guided development practices and AI-driven engineering environments.
• Strong REST web services experience and Git version control.
• Excellent English communication (C1); German/Spanish a plus.

One of the companies we work with at Joppy, which specialises in developing cloud-based software solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), whose main focus is on helping businesses manage sustainability and regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, is looking for FULL STACK DEVELOPERS to join the team.

Working arrangements:

HYBRID in Madrid (3 days a week in the office).

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Business Partner Transparency (BPT) within our company HUB. We provide Supplier intelligence that goes beyond helping businesses ensure compliance with ESG regulations. We enable companies to unify transparency, compliance, and efficiency across their value chain.

Our HUB is a modern, enterprise-grade development platform that enables businesses to build powerful applications without worrying about infrastructure, scaling, or failover. You’ll help develop and refine this cutting-edge, serverless ecosystem while delivering meaningful solutions for international clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize full-stack features using modern back-end technologies, ensuring scalability and maintainability. You'll use Node.JS and TypeScript on the backend, and React.JS on the frontend.
• Develop and enhance innovative software solutions that automate complex compliance workflows for businesses of all sizes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in small, agile squads (4-6 people) to define, refine, and implement features.
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient code through rigorous reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Own the architecture and design of Typescript based solutions, optimizing for performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Contribute to technical strategy and decision-making, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence within the team.

Your Experience

• Strong experience (ideally 4+ years) in full-stack development, using Node.JS / TypeScript and React.JS.
• Experience in startups, SAAS or product companies. (MANDATORY)
• Hands‑on experience leveraging AI‑guided development practices and collaborating within agentic, AI‑driven engineering environments.
• Expertise in web services development and integration (REST etc).
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Strong product mindset – you think beyond code, considering user experience, business impact, and scalability.
• Agile experience – comfortable working in sprints, participating in stand-ups, and iterating quickly.
• Excellent communication skills (C1 or equivalent) in English. German and/or Spanish skills are a plus, (but not necessary).
