Ticket Merchant busca un Desarrollador Backend Medio–Senior para diseñar, construir y mantener servicios backend de alto rendimiento usando Node.js y TypeScript, y colaborar con equipos de producto y datos para automatizaciones y mejoras de escalabilidad. La posición se orienta a personas basadas en España.

Se valora experiencia con Next.js, React, bases de datos SQL (MS SQL, T‑SQL), herramientas de pruebas y prácticas DevOps. Se busca dominio de inglés y español.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia profesional en desarrollo full stack.
• Dominio de React y TypeScript.
• Gestión de Git desde terminal.
• Experiencia con sistemas de automatización y orquestación de flujos.
• Conocimientos sólidos de bases de datos Microsoft SQL y Transact-SQL.
• Conocimientos de marcos de prueba y pruebas unitarias/integración.
• Comprensión de arquitecturas escalables, entornos en la nube (AWS/GCP/Azure) y prácticas DevOps modernas.
• Inglés y español fluidos.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener código frontend para una app interna en React (TypeScript).
• Desarrollar y mantener servicios backend con Node.js y Next.js (TypeScript).
• Diseñar herramientas de automatización y flujos de trabajo.
• Colaborar con equipos de producto y datos para entregar funciones que impulsen el negocio.
• Garantizar fiabilidad, escalabilidad y rendimiento en cargas altas.
• Escribir código limpio, testeable y mantenible siguiendo buenas prácticas.
• Contribuir a decisiones arquitectónicas y mejora continua de nuestra pila backend.

About UsTicket Merchant is a fast-growing business operating at the intersection of technology and live events, building scalable platforms that power pricing, automation, and data-driven decision making. Our backend systems are the backbone of our business, and we're looking for a Backend Developer to help us scale, innovate, and deliver. While the company is based in Australia, our team is located around the world. We are looking for a professional based preferably in Spain. Domain of English language is a must, as the company official language is English, along with Spanish for daily use with the local team.

The Role as a Mid-Senior Backend Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services with Node.Js (mainly Next.Js) and TypeScript. You'll work closely with our product and data teams to build powerful automations, improve system scalability, and deliver new features that directly impact the business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain frontend code for a clean and optimized internal app in React (mandatory use of TypeScript).
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.Js and, mainly, Next.Js (mandatory use of TypeScript).
• Design and implement automation tools and workflows that streamline operations.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver features that drive business growth.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance at high loads.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of our backend stack.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Real git management via terminal.
• Experience with automation systems and backend workflow orchestration.
• Solid knowledge of databases (mainly Microsoft SQL, Transact-SQL).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing unit/integration tests.
• Understanding of scalable architectures, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience in Linux environments and POSIX systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
