A leading health research institute in Barcelona is seeking a full-time LAB TECHNICIAN to manage activities related to a funding project focused on bacterial outbreaks. The role requires significant laboratory experience in microbiology and proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish. The position entails organizing and collecting project materials, analyzing bacterial isolates, and supporting experimental tasks at the Centre Esther Koplowitz. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to vital health research, with a contract duration of one month starting January 2026.

Formación

• Experience in antimicrobial resistance and development of new antibiotics will be highly appreciated.
• Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Support and develop the experimental tasks within the project.
• Organization and collection of samples and material for the project.
• Generate a local repository of FTIR spectra from bacterial isolates.
