Formación

About the Role

Our Falcon Foundry (SOAR) product is a highly extensible No-Code/Low-Code means of automating all sorts of complex workflow creation and execution. We're seeking an E6 frontend engineer to join an established high-performing team in expanding a number dynamic feature areas spanning highly complex triggers and views, large scale data visualizations, and more. You'll collaborate closely with UX designers and QA to maintain a consistent user experience across all our products, as well as product management and backend engineers to establish product specifications and features. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for taking full ownership of the delivery of our products, driving the technical aspects, helping the team to define the architecture and coordinating with stakeholders in terms of scope and priorities.

As a Front-End Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for this arm of the Falcon platform. You will provide a high quality user experience that our customers around the world use 24/7 to protect their systems from the most sophisticated adversaries.

Our JavaScript framework is Ember, but if you've used React, Angular, or Vue.js, you'll feel right at home, and we’ll help you get comfortable with both Ember and our codebase. Since we only support evergreen browsers, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web platform while working with truly massive amounts of data. What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js
  • Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of your fellow UI Engineers
  • Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience
  • Write automated tests for your code
  • Collaborate with fellow UI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UI Designers, Technical Writers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, Product Managers, and others
  • Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry
  • Have fun solving hard problems
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ Years of experience building complex user interfaces for software products used at high scale, with the majority or most recent portion devoted toward a SaaS product
  • A deep understanding of Javascript and considerable experience building thick-client applications with modern frameworks such as Ember, AngularJS, Backbone or React/Flux.
  • Strong HTML & CSS skills, with bonus points for experience with animation, knowledge of approaches to scalable/modular CSS, & preprocessors such as SCSS & LESS.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit, Mocha & Selenium.
  • Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.
  • A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers, & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems.
  • Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools - git, yarn, npm, Ember CLI etc
  • Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.
Bonus Points
  • Experience creating or contributing to open source projects.
  • Experience with graphics & visualization tools such as D3 or ThreeJS.
  • Interest & experience with design & data visualization.
  • Experience with coaxing that last frame-per-second out of browsers.
  • Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
