A research institution in Granada is seeking a Front-End Engineer for its 30-meter telescope. Responsibilities include ensuring the operation of receivers, participating in telescope activities, and integrating new instruments. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering, or Physics and strong skills in RF/millimeter wave systems. The position offers a permanent contract along with a competitive salary and social benefits. Candidates must be comfortable working at high altitudes and possess good communication skills in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Experience in low noise RF/millimeter wave systems.
• Knowledge of general electronics and electrical systems.
• Ability to work at 3,000 meters altitude.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operation of existing receivers and subsystems.
• Participate in telescope activities and performance checks.
• Conduct trips to the observatory for on-site work.

Conocimientos

Good knowledge of low noise high frequency RF

Analytical and critical thinking

Good communications skills

Ability to work independently in teams

Good English skills

Ability to speak and understand Spanish

Educación
