Job summary

Talan Spain is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Angular 16+ applications. You will implement NgRx state management, work with REST APIs, and integrate with corporate design systems and Web Components.

The role demands 5+ years of front-end experience, strong TypeScript/HTML5/CSS3 skills, and a proactive approach to testing, code reviews, and on-call duty. This is a 100% remote position within a multicultural, international environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Proficient with Angular 16+ and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, accessibility and responsive design.
• Experience with NgRx state management and REST API integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end apps using Angular 16+ and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, responsive UIs following modern standards.
• Implement NgRx state management including Store, Effects, Selectors, Signal Store.
• Integrate with REST APIs and design systems; collaborate on components and Web Components.
• Develop automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews and coding standards.
• Identify debt and propose architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document decisions and provide technical guidance to peers.
• Participate in a mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation; approx one week every 3-4 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular 16+ and TypeScript.


• Build reusable, responsive, and accessible user interfaces following modern web development standards.


• Implement state management solutions using NgRx, including Store, Effects, Selectors, and Signal Store.


• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and corporate design systems, component libraries, and Web Components.


• Develop and maintain automated tests, ensuring the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the codebase.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the definition and implementation of coding standards and best practices.


• Identify technical debt and propose improvements to application architecture, performance, and maintainability.


• Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver effective solutions.


• Document and communicate technical decisions, share knowledge, and provide technical guidance to other developers.


• Participate in a mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation , covering Monday to Sunday on a rotating basis.


• The expected frequency is approximately one week every 3-4 months, depending on the team's schedule.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Front-End Development.


• English proficiency at B2 level or above.


• Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and front-end best practices.


• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.


• Mandatory hands‑on experience with Angular 16 or later , including: Standalone components. Angular Signals, computed(), and inject(). RxJS and reactive programming. NgRx state management, including Store, Effects, Selectors, and Signal Store. Experience integrating and working with design systems, corporate component libraries, and Web Components. Experience integrating REST APIs.


• Proficiency with Git and repository management workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and conflict resolution.


• Strong experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and component testing for services, components, and state management.


• Knowledge and practical application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and Redux.


• Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.


• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
