Optimus Life Sciences in Barcelona is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join the onsite team for a freelance project. The role involves starting, testing and troubleshooting pumps, valves, instrumentation and control programs in a process plant setting.

Requirements include 1–3+ years in commissioning or start-up, a background in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Process or Chemical Engineering, and fluency in Spanish and English. Onsite work in Barcelona is expected.

Formación

• 1–3+ years' commissioning or start-up experience.
• Background in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Process or Chemical Engineering.
• Hands-on with pumps, valves, instrumentation, or process equipment.
• Onsite availability in the Barcelona area.
• Spanish and English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Start up, test and troubleshoot pumps.
• Test and repair valves.
• Check piping and leaks.
• Configure and test instrumentation.
• Test control programs and automation routines.
• Test alarms and safety interlocks.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults onsite.
• Support process plant start-up activities.
• Biogas and digestate/sample analysis.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineer to resolve commissioning issues.
