Job summary

Papaya Global is seeking an experienced Revenues Analyst to join our FP&A team, focusing on revenues, cost of revenues, and gross margin analyses across our global platform.

You’ll forecast revenue, support budgeting, perform month-end close tasks, and build dashboards with Abacum/NetSuite/Tableau. Strong Excel and AI-enabled finance tooling experience are required, with collaboration across Accounting, Sales, RevOps, and FinOps.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or similar analytical finance role in a high-growth tech/fintech/global org.
• Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with FP&A platforms (e.g., Abacum or similar) – must.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite – must.
• Strong proficiency with Tableau or other BI tools – must.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills – must.
• Proven hands-on experience applying AI tools in finance workflows including automation of processes, data validation, forecasting improvements, and checks in financial models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Revenue forecasting across the existing customer base, new business, pipeline and ramp-up.
• Support annual budgeting and track budget-versus-actuals monthly.
• Assist month-end/quarter-end close, MoM analysis, revenue recognition, reconciliations, variances.
• Perform cost of revenues and gross margin analysis, identify trends and cost-saving drivers.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations; support ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, RevOps, FinOps, and cross-functional teams.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, models, reporting, automation and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue forecasting across the existing customer base and new business, sales pipeline and conversion assumptions, revenue ramp-up, and other key business drivers.
• Support the annual budgeting and track budget-versus-actuals on a monthly basis, including financial modeling and analysis of key assumptions and business drivers.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including MoM analysis, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and investigation of key variances.
• Perform cost of revenues and gross margin analysis, defining KPIs, identifying trends, and proposing cost-saving drivers.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations, as well as ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making.
• Work closely with Accounting, Sales, RevOps, FinOps, and other cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, financial models, reporting, automation, and data quality

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical finance role in a high-growth, technology, fintech, or global organization.
• Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with FP&A platforms (e.g., Abacum or similar) – must.
• Strong proficiency with NetSuite – must.
• Strong proficiency with Tableau or other BI tools – must.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills – must.
• Proven hands-on experience applying AI tools in finance workflows including automation of processes, data validation, forecasting improvements, and building checks and balances in financial models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into clear business insights. High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
