HappyRobot Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for our founding France team. You will work directly with customers to onboard, implement, and optimize our AI platform, blending software development with strategic guidance.

• Fluent in French at C1/C2 level is required.
• Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (Founding France Team Member).

We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will combine strong technical abilities with excellent communication skills, working directly with customers to ensure they maximize the value of HappyRobot’s AI platform. You will be involved in onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support, while also contributing to product development and innovation.

What You’ll Do

Must Have

• Native or fluent French speaker (C1/C2 level) — essential for direct communication with French-speaking customers.
• Strong full-stack experience: React, TypeScript, Node.js.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning.
• Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
