Job summary

The Ark Christian School Spain is seeking a warm and committed Early Years Teacher to join our Foundation Stage team from January 2027. You will lead our Pre-Reception class, delivering the EYFS curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment where every child can flourish.

You will plan a play-based curriculum across the seven areas of learning, develop phonics and language skills, observe and report progress to parents, and uphold the school's Christian ethos while supporting children with EAL and

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a play-based EYFS curriculum across all seven areas of learning
• Develop early phonics, language and communication skills
• Create engaging continuous provision, indoors and outdoors
• Act as key person, supporting children's wellbeing and personal development
• Observe, assess and report progress to parents
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the Early Years team
• Support children with EAL and SEND
• Uphold the school's Christian ethos and values
