Alén Space in Spain seeks a Flight Software Engineer to contribute to satellite onboard software and its integration across projects. The role involves requirements definition, embedded software design, module development, and participation in validation campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS/Software Eng, 5+ years of experience, microcontroller experience, C programming, real-time RTOS such as FreeRTOS or RTEMS, and proficiency with GIT, plus English for international collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• At least 5 years of experience performing functions similar to the position's requirements.
• Fluency in English (oral communication with international clients will be required).

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Flight Software Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; toparticipate in the company's various missions, contribute to the evolution of the satellites' onboard software, and participate in its integration into different projects and products. They will also participate in the development of various products where monitoring and control tasks are critical to achieving mission objectives. The Software Engineering Area carries out the design, implementation, and validation of flight software for the space segment and control software components for the ground segment.
