Job summary

Banco Plata, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple seeks DevOps Engineers for two teams: Infrastructure Platform and DevSupport. You will work on Kubernetes-based PaaS, AWS cloud, CI/CD, and automation with Terraform, Istio, ArgoCD, and Ansible.

Expect collaboration across development and operations to improve deployment, monitoring, and reliability. You will engage in challenging work including scalable infrastructure, observability, and secure delivery pipelines, with relocation and flexible

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, especially AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, Istio, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience with distributed systems and databases (Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Shell/Bash scripting and at least one language (Python, Go, or Java).
• English level B1+ for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create an innovative fintech service based on an existing AWS-based platform.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of containerized applications.
• Utilize Terraform to configure and maintain infrastructure as code, automating.
• Implement and configure Istio service mesh to enhance visibility, security, and traffic management within microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
