Boston Scientific in Madrid is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to join the Finance group for a 12-month internship. You will support the EMEA FinOps team on core activities including closing, planning, reporting and financial analysis in a multinational environment.

The role offers hands-on experience in a leading MedTech company, exposure to an international matrix, mentorship and development opportunities, and an onsite arrangement in Madrid.

Formación

• Graduated with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Business-related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Good knowledge of basic financial concepts.
• Strong communication skills within an international matrix team environment.
• Autonomy with the ability to take decisions and bring new ideas.

Responsabilidades

• Support the planning, reporting and OPEX processes on the calculation, analysis and tools deployment, contributing with improvement proposals or best in class identified processes in any division.
• Collaborate on the month-end close activities: liaising with FP&As to identify information updates and improvement areas, understanding gaps.
• Contribute to accelerate projects by actively participating, creating an open communication channel with the users, gathering business requirements, involving them in testing and incorporating feedback.
• Understand the EMEA forecasting process and periods to be a key element in the definition and load of the estimations from the six divisions and 73 countries involved.

About The Role:

We are currently looking for an Intern to join our Finance group in Madrid as a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-monthinternship and will get the chance to work in a multinational environment, supporting the EMEA Finance Operation team (FinOps) on core activities such as Closing, Planning, Reporting & Financial Analysis.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support the planning, reporting and OPEX processes on the calculation, analysis and tools deployment, contributing with improvement proposals or best in class identified processes in any division.
• Collaborate on the month-end close activities:Collaborate with the owners of the divisions and geographies assigned in creating the reports, liaising with the FP&As to identify information updates and improvement areas, understanding gaps.
• Contribute to accelerate projects by actively participating, creating an open communication channel with the users, gathering business requirements, involving them in the testing phase, incorporate feedbacks on the scope…

What We Are Looking For In You:
