Financial Accounting Senior Specialist
Summary
We are seeking a Financial Accounting Senior Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate revenue and cost accounting, compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 15), and maintaining data integrity across systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial accuracy and transparency, contributing to the organization’s overall success.
In this role you’ll:
Key Responsibilities
- Execute revenue or variable cost postings in SAP, ensuring alignment with IFRS 15 and internal accounting policies.
- Handle month‑end closing activities, post any required adjustments, including deferred revenue handling, and perform system reconciliations.
- Coordinate with FP&A and other finance teams (central or local) to ensure correct classification of revenues or variable costs.
- Ensure data integrity from upstream sources such as billing and iPPM to the General Ledger and reporting systems, especially for Implementations and Service & Consulting streams or in complex scenarios mixing intercompany flows within bundled services.
- Monitor and resolve misalignments in revenue recognition across regions and entities, including non‑SAP entities.
About Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5‑7 years of experience in accounting.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, with strong knowledge of IFRS 15.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level is required.
- Proficiency in SAP FI module and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and regions.
