Teltonika IoT Solutions in Madrid is hiring a Financial Accountant to support financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and the company’s financial health in a fast-growing international organization.

This role focuses on managing daily tasks, budgets, month-end closings, payroll, and HQ reporting, with opportunities to establish the local finance function and collaborate with leadership across borders.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Business Admin.
• 5+ years in accounting or finance.
• Fluent Spanish and business English.
• Analytical with data interpretation.
• Independent in new office setup.
• Commercial acumen and risk awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Handle daily accounting tasks: invoicing, AR/AP, postings, reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts.
• Execute monthly closing and produce management reports to HQ.
• Oversee payroll administration.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in year-end closing and audits.
• Help establish the local finance department in Madrid.
• Support tax declarations (optional).

We are hiring a Financial Accountant to support the newly established Teltonika IoT Solutions office in Madrid. This is an individual contributor role focused on managing financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and supporting the company's financial health in a fast-growing international organization.

In this role, you will:

• Manage daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, overseeing trade receivables and payables, recording and posting financial transactions, performing bank reconciliations, handling inventory accounting, and processing entries within the accounting system, all while analyzing the company's financial data.
• Create monthly budgets and forecasts.
• Execute the monthly closing process.
• Prepare management reports and reports to HQ.
• Manage payroll administration.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting, reporting, legal, and tax requirements.
• Conduct financial year-end closing and reporting, and prepare documentation for annual audits/tax authorities.
• Establish the finance/accounting department in the local office in coordination with the CEO and HQ.
• Perform othertasks as assigned by the CEO or HQ.
• Prepare tax declarations (optional).

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Economics / Finance / Business administration or a similar field of study.
• 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to work independently in a new office environment.
• Energy, drive and can-do attitude are a must-have.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential financial and business risks.
• Fluent in Spanish and business level of English language.
