papernest is offering a Strategy & Operations internship in Barcelona starting January 2027 for 6 months. You will support the Finance Operations Specialist with daily tasks like payments and invoicing while gaining exposure in a fast-growing European scale-up.

You will lead end-to-end billing, ensure data integrity before invoicing, manage SEPA payments and reconciliations, and collaborate with Tech to automate workflows and improve processes.

Formación

• Background in business or engineering; initial experience in project management and/or operations
• Analytical rigor with ability to process complex financial datasets
• Strategic proactivity and builder mindset with initiative to improve processes
• Operational agility handling high-volume recurring tasks and long-term optimization
• Advanced command of Excel/Google Sheets; interest in data tools (SQL, BigQuery, Python)
• Fluency in Spanish and English; French is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Billing & Revenue Operations end-to-end cycle management from data acquisition to invoicing
• Design and deploy internal monitoring tools; automate workflows with Tech
• Analyze payment failures and propose solutions to improve debit rates
• Bridge between Customer Care and Tech/Product for system optimization
