A leading energy company is seeking an Operative Controller based in Madrid. This role involves overseeing the operative budgeting and planning process, cost and project controlling, and preparing business decision-making bases for management. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and possess strong skills in integrated budgeting, SAP, and MS Office. The Operative Controller, as a member of the Commercial Team, is responsible for operative budgeting and planning process as well as cost and project controlling including investment controlling of the Spanish assets of VERBUND. Operative Controller further supports the Head of Commercial in the preparation of the business decision‑making bases for management and prepares budget‑ and review meetings with the shareholders.
Responsible for the operative budgeting and planning process of VGP‑IB as well as cost and project controlling.
Responsible for the investment controlling of the Spanish assets of VERBUND.
Prepare budget and review meetings with the shareholders.
Create deviation analyses and process ad‑hoc inquiries.
Work on projects and further development topics (such as the SAP S4 / HANA transformation) in the Controlling department.
Support in the elaboration of project finance reports for the banks.
Elaborate valuation models and prepare KPIs for analysis and follow‑up of the projects.
Give support to auditors and tax matters.
Act as an intermediary for the guarantees request and follow up the status of the guarantees of each project.
Control the payment proposal in collaboration with the project managers.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus on controlling and/or corporate accounting.
