We are seeking a highly qualified professional to lead the financial and audit functions for a company located in the north of Murcia, operating in the Agriculture and Biocontrol sector , specializing in sustainable greenhouse horticulture.

The Finance and Audit Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage internal and external audit processes. This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a strategic role in business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s financial management, including treasury, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and legal regulations.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits, ensuring the implementation of improvements and recommendations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Participate in financial and strategic planning for the company.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and financial efficiency.
• Responsible for managing external institutional relations and maintaining effective internal dialogue with labor unions and works councils.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to make data-driven financial decisions.

Required experience:

• Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing roles, including team management, preferably within one of the Big Six.
• Proven experience managing relations and collaborating with labor unions and works councils.
• Experienced in preparing and presenting reports to the board of directors and/or investment funds

Academic background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is desirable.

Languages:

• Spanish and English – high proficiency.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of accounting, tax, and audit regulations.
• Proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
