Overview
Support Sodastream Iberia Finance Manager in developing and implementing all aspects of accounting and reporting areas. Main responsibilities include keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments, assisting with preparing tax documents.

The position is based in Alcobendas, Madrid.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
- Support actively on month-end, quarterly and year-end closing activities in compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor and analyze cash transactions to optimize financial operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Preparation of financial statements. Journal entry and credit notes preparations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review such as cash flow.
- PO and accruals follow up.
- Manage communication with tax authorities, including requirements and audits.
- Support on presenting tax declarations and annual accounts in collaboration with our tax consultants.
- Ensure bookkeeping compliance with local (PGC) and international accounting regulations (US GAAP).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Other related accounting duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven 5‑6 years of working experience as an accounting specialist or similar.
- Clear understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of cash flow management and financial reporting practices.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Competence in Microsoft applications. Advanced Excel.
- Experience in working with ERP's such as SAP, SAGE, ORACLE, SAC, Netsuite.
- Proven level of English is a must (C1 level).
