Springer Nature invites a Finance Analyst Iberia & Western Europe to join the Madrid-based team. The role combines financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting across Iberia and Western Europe in a hybrid environment.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, and Group Finance, develop dashboards, support audits, and contribute to process improvements using ERP tools such as SAP/S4H, HFM, and Anaplan. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years in finance, controlling, or accounting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and local GAAP.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and operational plans across different business areas, applying strong financial acumen and planning skills to support objectives and resource allocation.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and revision of forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, including sales and market trends, profitability of products, customers and territories, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports for local and European finance teams with timely delivery and accuracy.
• Participate in month-end closing processes, including financial controls and reporting for Iberia and group entities.
• Support the calculation and monitoring of cost of sales components and intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Business Development teams as a finance business partner.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and participate in finance-related projects.
