A leading hospitality group is seeking a highly organized Finance Administrator in Mijas Costa, Málaga. The ideal candidate will manage treasury functions and assist with accounts payable using accounting software. This full-time role requires excellent Excel skills and a high level of English. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced finance team, ensuring timely reporting and management of financial operations.

Formación

  • Must be proficient in advanced MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable is essential.
  • Knowledge of UK VAT regulations is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

  • Post bank and card transactions into accounting software.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
  • Review and post supplier invoices, prepare payments.
  • Track cash flow and received vs. pending invoices.
  • Report Accounts Payable for monthly review.
  • Maintain and update the purchase daybook.

Overview

Idiliq Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant with excellent Excel skills and experience using accounting software. This role involves managing treasury functions and debtor and creditor accounts while working closely with the Finance team to ensure that all monthly and quarterly deadlines and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner. Based at our offices in Mijas Costa, you will be a proactive team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and committed to delivering results under tight deadlines.

Job details: Location – Mijas Costa, Málaga; Contract Type – Full-time; Company – Idiliq Group

Responsibilities
  • Posting bank and card transactions into SUN and Navision accounting software.
  • Performing bank and credit card statement reconciliations.
  • Reviewing supplier invoices, posting them into the system, and preparing bank payments for approval.
  • Recording cash flow and tracking received vs. pending invoices.
  • Reporting Accounts Payable to the Financial Controller for monthly accruals review.
  • Maintaining and updating the purchase daybook.
Qualifications
  • High level of English (essential).
  • Advanced MS Office user with excellent Excel skills.
  • Previous administrative or bookkeeping experience, particularly in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience using accounting software (SUN, Navision or similar).
  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistics is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Accurate, methodical, well-organised and with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of UK VAT regulations would be a plus.
