We have partnered with a fast‑growing genomics company, looking for a "Field Applications Specialist" based in Spain who will serve as the key technical link between the company’s advanced genomic analysis platform and their clients.

Role responsibilities :

Working closely with the sales team, you will provide expert guidance throughout the customer journey, from initial engagement to ongoing support.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Demonstrating and articulating the value of our cloud‑based genomic analysis platform to prospective clients.
• Delivering in‑depth technical training and high‑level support to ensure optimal platform utilization.
• Overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring seamless platform integration into clients’ workflows.
• Collecting and relaying client feedback to our product team, contributing to continuous improvements.
• Staying informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
• Travelling within Europe (up to 50%) to support clients and participate in industry events.
• Collaborating with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Providing regular reports on client interactions, needs, and opportunities.

What We Are Looking For :

We seek a motivated individual with the following qualifications and skills :

• Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
• Minimum B.Sc. in biology, genetics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Solid understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and its clinical applications.
• Experience with cloud‑based platforms and SaaS technologies in life sciences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in customer‑facing roles within life sciences or healthcare technology sectors.

Preferred :

• Experience in bioinformatics or genomic data analysis.
• Familiarity with molecular diagnostics laboratory workflows.
• Knowledge of the healthcare and research landscape, particularly in genomics and personalized medicine.
• Background in in vitro diagnostics (IVD / IVDR).
