EY-Parthenon Off-cycle Program in Barcelona offers a unique chance to gain exposure to Strategy & Transactions while interning on real projects with high-performing teams.

From day one you will work alongside consultants on strategic and transactional projects, develop analytical and communication skills, and learn in an environment of rigor and feedback. There is potential for permanent hire if performance is strong.

Formación

• Final year student enrolled in mathematics, physics, business analytics or engineering.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced strategy & transactions environment.

Our EY-Parthenon Off-cycle Program offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to one of the areas of Strategy & Transactions while working as an intern on real projects with high-performing teams in our Barcelona office.

From your very first day, you will:

• Work alongside consultants, managers and partners on strategic and transactional projects.
• Contribute to analyses that influence key business decisions.
• Develop problem-solving, analytical and communication skills at an accelerated pace.
• Learn in an environment that combines intellectual rigor, collaboration and continuous feedback.

• Have the ability to be hired if performed satisfactorily during the internship and be offered an indefinite contract and the possibility to participate in our EY-Parthenon Rotation Program.

Our6 month off-cycle programoffers you the opportunity to explore one of the fields in our strategy and transactions area:

• M&A:Helps enable strategic growth through better integrated and operationalized mergers and acquisitions.
• Project Finance & Modelling: Helps develop and review financial models for energy and infrastructure projects by assessing assumptions, risks, and outcomes to ensure the technical and financial consistency of the models. The main objective is to provide assurance to clients and investors throughout every stage of the project, from structuring to financial close.
• Valuations: Analyzing businesses for growth opportunities and helping them gain a competitive edge.
• Transaction Diligence: Helps clients in buying or selling businesses by analyzing financial, commercial, and operational data to identify risks, opportunities, and value drivers. They conduct financial due diligence, assess strategic aspects, and provide reports to help clients improve their negotiating position.
• Reestructuring & Debt: Supporting underperforming clients in achieving strategic turnarounds and adapting to changing economic conditions.
• ESG: Helps organizations address sustainability issues, investor concerns, support ESG reporting and disclosures, and improve ESG performance.
• Strategy and Execution:Support merger and acquisitions transactions by understanding clients’ strategic goals and applying creative thinking to help achieve successful outcomes.

• Qualifications:We welcome last year’s students who are enrolled in degrees such as mathematics, physics, business & analytics, engineering. To ensure all candidates can fully participate in our program and workplace, we require evidence of proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish.
