This role requires senior leaders with over 15 years in executive positions to provide strategic insights during critical investment and consulting projects. The position is project-based, allowing for flexibility while maintaining influence in high-impact business decisions. Candidates should possess deep industry knowledge and strong analytical abilities. Competitive compensation and comprehensive support from the firm are offered.
Deep sector expertise—understanding competitive dynamics, value creation levers, regulatory implications, and the real risks shaping industry evolution—has become essential in investment and business transformation projects. As markets grow increasingly complex, private equity funds and major consulting firms require profiles capable of offering executive-level insight, strategic judgement, and a nuanced reading of competitive environments.
inTal is conducting a selection process for senior executives with extensive experience and proven sector expertise to collaborate as Senior Advisors.
This opportunity is designed for senior leaders who wish to leverage their expertise in strategic, high-impact engagements—flexibly, without taking on a permanent role—while maintaining influence in critical business decisions.
Senior Advisors play a decisive role in supporting investment funds throughout the entire deal cycle—bringing sector intelligence, strategic judgement, and operational insight that cannot be obtained solely from data or financial modeling. Provide early-stage sector insight to help funds determine whether an investment thesis is viable.
Identify potential red flags or deal-breakers before significant resources are committed.
Participate actively in commercial due diligence, offering a practical interpretation of demand dynamics, pricing models, customer behavior, and competitive pressures.
Identify operational risks, potential synergies, and hidden costs that may impact the valuation or integration plan.
Assess the impact of regulatory environments or compliance requirements that could affect the deal’s feasibility or future performance.
Offer a forward‑looking perspective on how technological shifts or industry disruption may affect the target’s long‑term viability.
Highlight risks not always visible in traditional due diligence frameworks: leadership gaps, cultural issues, sector dynamics, customer dependencies, or operational bottlenecks.
Support the preparation of Investment Committee discussions by offering clear, concise, and executive‑level perspectives.
Senior Advisors collaborating with major consulting firms play a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic, operational, and sector‑specific depth of consulting engagements. Support consulting teams in the early definition of project scopes, ensuring hypotheses and focus areas reflect real market and operational constraints.
Help identify priority questions, risks, and value levers that should guide the consulting approach.
Provide nuanced interpretation of market data, going beyond generic reports to explain the underlying behaviors, drivers, and constraints that influence sector performance.
Help consulting teams assess competitive positioning, differentiation, customer needs, and potential threats.
Clarify operational realities—process complexities, cost structures, supply‑chain considerations, regulatory impacts—that influence project conclusions.
Offer real‑world insight into transformation programs, helping consultancies design initiatives that are actionable and realistic for the client organization.
Identify key enablers and obstacles for operational efficiency, process redesign, digital adoption, and organizational restructuring.
Act as a strategic “sounding board,” ensuring recommendations stand up to executive‑level scrutiny.
Strengthen credibility and influence in front of client executives by adding senior perspective and industry authority to consulting teams.
Ensure recommendations consider the cultural and organizational realities of the client, increasing the likelihood of adoption and long‑term success.
Assist consulting teams and client leadership in prioritizing initiatives and defining realistic roadmaps.
Provide ongoing support as an advisor during critical phases of transformation, ensuring momentum and execution discipline.
