Job summary

T-Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive end-to-end software features in a fast-paced product team. You will work on frontend and backend, leveraging Python, Angular, Kotlin/Java, and Postgres, plus modern tooling.

You will own key components, design new features, ensure code quality with automated tests, and collaborate with product owners and partners to deliver secure, scalable software in an agile environment.

Qualifications

Must have experience with Python, Angular, and Kotlin/Java.
Strong database experience with Postgres.
Solid frontend and backend development background.
Experience with GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence for collaborative work.
Demonstrated test automation and test-driven development abilities.
Ability to design scalable software architectures and perform debugging.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product owner and cross-functional team to execute engineering challenges.
Contribute to the product architecture to ensure seamless development of new product features.
Take the technical ownership for product components and enhance and maintain these.
Design and develop new features.
Ensure high quality of software artefacts through automated tests, code reviews and documentation.
Integrate your software with partner systems, often requiring you to learn new technologies.
Ensure that the product is always compliant to security requirements and uses state-of-the-art technologies.
Work in an agile and team context.

Your Task

The main driver for this service is to reach a consistent state of documentation, where all devices within approximately 8,000 central offices ("Betriebsstelle") will be sufficiently mapped. With this mapping, much improved cost efficiency within energy and space management will be achieved. This will directly benefit the central overview about technical equipment rack-slots including documentation of technology and energy supplies. This is a critical pillar for an overall energy management strategy and therefore contributes to the corporate objectives for carbon dioxide emission reduction. This role is the main enabler for:

Transparent space utilization, energy consumption and energy planning
Managing the technical places
Localization of undocumented legacy systems
