dsm-firmenich in Barcelona seeks an Expert D&T Controlling to drive SAP CO and S/4HANA transformations, delivering scalable, business-oriented Controlling solutions across cost center accounting, product costing and profitability analysis.

Reporting to the D&T Manager Finance, you will lead initiatives with Finance stakeholders and Product squads, ensure alignment with global templates, and support month-end closing and internal reporting in a hybrid, international setting.

Formación

• +10 years of experience in SAP Finance with strong focus on Controlling.
• Deep knowledge of Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting.

Job Title: Expert D&T Controlling

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Mode: Hybrid

In the D&T Finance chapter, this role is responsible for executing projects and enhancements that support SAP Controlling processes across the D&T Finance platform. The position will help shape and optimize the new SAP S/4HANA landscape for Controlling, ensuring scalable, harmonized and business-oriented solutions.

The role will lead and streamline new initiatives in close coordination with Product squads, Finance stakeholders and delivery teams, taking accountability for the successful design, implementation and adoption of SAP CO solutions.

Reporting to the D&T Manager Finance, the role will ensure strong support and coordination across multiple streams impacting Controlling, driving process efficiency, standardization and best-in-class solutions across areas such as cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis and management reporting.

Your key responsibilities

• Support large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs with a focus on SAP Controlling processes and integration with Finance.
• Execute and support the delivery of SAP CO enhancements, process improvements, bug fixes and operational support activities.
• Act as a SAP CO expert across areas such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting.
• Provide first-level functional support for controlling processes, including month-end closing, allocations, cost planning, product costing and profitability reporting.
• Configure, support and maintain SAP CO solutions in SAP ERP and S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business requirements, global templates and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product squads, Finance stakeholders and external support teams to design, test, document and deliver scalable SAP CO solutions.

You bring

• +10 years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong focus on SAP Controlling and related integration with Finance processes.
• Solid expertise in SAP CO areas such as Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis and management reporting.
• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple enhancements, incidents and project deliverables in parallel, including coordination of external support teams.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, or participation in large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Ability to write functional documentation, support solution design, define test scenarios, execute testing and analyze/debug SAP CO processes.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Finance stakeholders, Product squads and the Controlling squad lead.
