A multinational consumer goods company is looking for a SHE Specialist in Leioa. This role involves supporting the SHE Manager and team on safety, health, and environmental risks. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sciences, and at least 3-5 years of industrial experience, preferring proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and excellent English communication skills. This position promotes a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.

Formación

Job Title: SHE Specialist

Location: Leioa (Vizcaya)

Work Level: U13

Role Purpose

Provide technical and operational support to the SHE Manager and team, contributing to the identification, analysis, and control of safety, health, and environmental risks. Promote a culture of prevention and sustainability, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and Unilever corporate standards in the factory.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the plant's SHE manager in all safety/environmental matters and be a driving force in bringing the SHE culture to all departments.
  • Assist the Safety, Health, and Environment Manager and the rest of the team in various missions, as well as in the implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies and standards.
  • Prevent, analyze, evaluate, and take measures to reduce risks (safety, environment, working conditions, health) and avoid accidents, occupational illnesses, or environmental accidents through an active presence in the field and rigorous management.
  • Ensure that actions contributing to Health and Safety and environmental protection (training, accreditation, periodic audits, regulatory controls, etc.) comply with legal obligations and Unilever requirements.
  • Develop communications and monitoring of operational indicators in the area of SHE, KPIs.
  • Audit, advise, support, and monitor actions/deviations for compliance with the guidelines.
About You
  • Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the industrial sector (preferably at food/pharmaceutical).
  • Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention/Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, WCM, or TPM. Why-why, 5w+1H, and 4M analysis tools.
  • Experience in CAE, Safety Plans, and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret Spanish and regional legislation on Health, Safety, and the Environment in companies.
  • Language-English: High level of spoken and written English (B2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Digital skills and proficiency in office tools, Office Word, Excel, Power BI.
