Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations with a strong focus on automation technologies.
• Proven experience with AS/RS, robotics, and automated material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation control software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of automated warehouse systems, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Monitor the performance of robotics, conveyor systems, and AS/RS equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automated systems and WMS software.
• Analyze operational data from automated systems to identify areas for performance improvement and optimization.
• Implement software updates and system configurations for the WMS and automation controls.
• Develop and deliver training programs for warehouse staff on the operation of automated systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to automated machinery and warehouse operations.
• Work with vendors and technology providers to evaluate and integrate new automated solutions.

This role will focus on the operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated warehouse systems, including robotics, AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), and advanced WMS. • Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Familiarity with the logistics landscape in the Mérida, Yucatán, MX region is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• English language skills are highly desirable.
