Black & White Centre in Albacete is seeking a General English teacher for primary, secondary and adult learners. The timetable runs Monday to Friday, with afternoon and evening sessions. Classes are small and well-supported, with projector, laptop, whiteboard and a wide range of teaching materials.

Candidates with any teaching qualification are welcome; experience and passion for teaching are valued. The role includes exam preparation for Cambridge, Trinity and LanguageCert, plus opportunities

Job Summary

Well established school (30th anniversary 2024).- looking for General English teacher for primary , secondary and adults. Timetable Monday to Fridays, generally afternoon and evening work. Homogeneous groups-min 5 max.9

We work with set text books and syllabuses that are tried and tested and encourage creativity at all times. All classrooms have a projector, laptop, whiteboard and all teaching resources necessary. Vast range of additional materials available i.e educational games, realia,etc. Help and support provided. Approachable management team. Preparation of official exams such as Cambridge, Trinity, Language cert, etc.

Variety of age groups from teens to adults.

Possibility of teaching Business English in local companies.

External training and several social events also provided at no cost to the teachers.

Help is provided to find accommodation and process your necessary paperwork.

Albacete is a medium-sized university town that offers all the commodities of a large city in an easy to get around environment. Very well located. One and a half hours from Alicante, Murcia and Valencia and two hours from Madrid. Good train and coach services.

Friendly local people, great local wine and specialities and stunning surrounding villages in the province. Great place to soak up the Spanish culture and language.

Salary and Benefits

From €1,250 / month (gross)

≈ £1,070 / $1,458

Salary is based on previous experience, etc.
