Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an ERP SAP Functional Specialist for Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management (M/F) to maintain and evolve SAP solutions across S/4HANA, ECC6 and EWM platforms.

You will join the ERP Logistics and Warehouse team, collaborating with cross-functional domains to cover projects and services in a global setup, with the location flexible in Sevilla or Getafe and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related area.
• At least 5 years of expertise in SAP LE and WM.
• SAP EWM knowledge advisable with migration to S/4HANA EWM.
• Experience in SAP Materials Management or Production Planning.
• Debugging skills and ABAP knowledge appreciated.
• Fluent English; other European languages (FR/DE) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior functional specialist in Fit-Gap analysis (requirements vs. SAP standard).
• Design and build phases and deployment within the logistics team.
• Further develop LE, WM and EWM functionalities (change requests).
• Collaborate with Business Key Users in 3rd Level support for SAP components.
• Contribute to the ERP transformation program (to S/4HANA).
• Coordinate with other SAP specialists on process and data integration.

In order to support the International ERP team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

ERP26 – SAP Functional Specialist for Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management (M/F)

You will become part of the ERP Functional Solutions team in the ERP competence and delivery center, responsible for maintaining and evolving our national and international SAP solutions based in our SAP platforms: S/4 HANA, ECC6 and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

We want to extend the functional SAP competence center and seek for senior support in the area of logistics execution and extended warehouse management and also its integration with our external Third-Party Logistics (3PL).

You will join the ERP Logistics and Warehouse team. The team is located in Spain, Germany, UK and France and you will work close to other functional domains (supply chain management, production, quality, order to cash and finance) to cover the full scope of the target landscape in terms of projects and services.

Your location

The job holder can be located in Sevilla or Getafe. The position will require business travels as the working environment is international.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• For SAP projects contribute as senior functional specialist in Fit-Gap analysis (requirements vs. SAP standard), design & built phases and deployment within the logistics team.
• Further development of already implemented functionalities in LE, WM and EWM in the frame of change requests as part of the service process.
• Close collaboration with Business Key Users in 3rd Level support process for all components of the implemented solutions: SAP standard, customer specific developments as well as interface to partner systems.
• Contribution in the frame of the entire ERP transformation program of Airbus Defence & Space (transformation to S/4 HANA target landscape).
• Proactive collaboration with other SAP functional specialists inside the competence center on integration aspects (process & data) to anticipate all side effects of functionality being deployed into production.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Systems Technology or related area.
• At least 5 years of expertise and knowledge in SAP LE and WM.
• SAP EWM knowledge is advisable. We are currently under a digital transformation and all logistics and warehouse processes running in SAP LE (ECC 6) will be moved into S4Hana EWM.
• Further functional and technical expertise in SAP Materials Management or SAP Production Planning.
• Debugging Skills & ABAP Knowledge is highly appreciated.
• English on a fluent level is required. Ability to communicate in other European language(s) would be beneficial (French or German).
