PQE Group, a world leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries, seeks an Equipment Qualification & Maintenance Specialist in Barcelona to support assembly, disassembly, cleaning, qualification, and maintenance of GMP equipment.

Join a global team focused on compliant equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance; coordinate with suppliers; and ensure GMP records are kept up to date. A degree in a scientific/engineering field is required.

Formación

• Degree or technical qualification in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on with assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
• Familiarity with equipment qualification, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with laboratory, production, or process equipment is a plus.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, setup, and routine maintenance of lab and GMP equipment.
• Support IQ, OQ, and PQ qualification activities and reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance, checks, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
• Coordinate qualification, calibration, and maintenance with suppliers and external providers.
• Manage planning, spare parts, kits, and consumables for maintenance.
• Maintain documentation, qualification status, and GMP records.
• Support the preparation and review of SOPs and ensure activities are performed in compliance with GMP requirements.

We are looking for an Equipment Qualification & Maintenance Specialist in Barcelona to support the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, qualification, and maintenance of GMP equipment and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, setup, and routine maintenance of laboratory and GMP equipment.
• Support periodic qualification and calibration activities, including preparation and execution of IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment checks, troubleshooting, and basic component replacement.
• Coordinate qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities with suppliers and external service providers.
• Manage planning, scheduling, spare parts, kits, and consumables required for maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment documentation, qualification/calibration status, and related GMP records.
• Support the preparation and review of SOPs and ensure activities are performed in compliance with GMP requirements

Qualification & Skills

• Degree or technical qualification in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline.
• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with equipment assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with equipment qualification, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with laboratory, production, or process equipment is a plus.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
