ASafe Global busca un/a Senior Health & Safety Manager para un proyecto de centro de datos en Madrid, España. Liderarás el plan de gestión H&S y coordinarás a contratistas para fomentar una cultura de cero daño.

Se requiere 5+ años en grandes obras de data centre, certificación PRL y fluidez en español e inglés; experiencia en RAMS, auditorías e investigaciones de incidentes. Inicio inmediato y reporte directo a la dirección.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia como Senior Health & Safety Manager en grandes obras de data centre / construcción.
• Dominio del PRL español y normativas UE, con certificaciones CSS y primeros auxilios/dutoria de emergencia.
• Fluido en español e inglés, con conocimiento de ISO 45001 y legislación española.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar el Plan de Gestión H&S del proyecto y la estrategia de cero daño para todos los contratistas.
• Supervisar operaciones H&S diarias y dirigir equipos de oficiales y asesores de H&S.
• Gestionar cumplimiento H&S de contratistas y subcontratistas, con participación de equipos multiculturales.
• Llevar a cabo evaluaciones de riesgo, RAMS, inspecciones, auditorías y simulacros de emergencia.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de PRL, Directiva de Construcción UE 92/57/EEC, ISO 45001 y requisitos legales; coordinar con CSS durante diseño y construcción.
• Liderar investigaciones de accidentes/incidentes, RCA y CAPA, y reportes de KPIs de H&S a la dirección.
• Impulsar rendimiento H&S del proyecto buscando LTI = 0, auditorías y formaciones; aseguramiento del 100% de inducciones.

About the Role: ASafe Global is looking for an experienced EHS manager for a major data centre campus construction project in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project-wide H&S Management Plan and strategy, driving a zero-harm culture across all contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee day-to-day H&S operations across the campus, including management and mentoring of site H&S officers and advisors and leadership of multiple H&S teams.
• Manage General Contractor and subcontractor H&S compliance and stakeholder engagement across an international, multicultural workforce.
• Lead risk assessments, RAMS, inspections, audits, safety walks, emergency planning and response, and implementation of H&S management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish PRL legislation (including Ley 31/1995), EU Construction Site Directive 92/57/EEC, ISO 45001 and statutory requirements; coordinate with the CSSduring design and construction, maintain legal records and liaise with Inspección de Trabajo and other authorities.
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations, RCA and CAPA, maintain reporting records and RIDDOR-equivalent submissions, and report H&S KPIs to senior leadership and the Project Director.
• Drive project H&S performance, including zero LTI, 100% statutory inspection/audit compliance, 100% workforce induction, agreed near‑miss targets and zero enforcement notices.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Health & Safety Manager on large-scale Data Centre / Mission Critical construction projects.
• Valid Spanish Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) with Construction Safety specialisation under Real Decreto 39/1997, plus CSS and First Aid / Emergency Response certification.
• Fluent Spanish and English, with strong knowledge of Spanish PRL legislation, EU requirements and ISO 45001.
• Proven experience leading H&S teams and managing contractors, subcontractors and multicultural construction teams, with strong RAMS, risk assessment, auditing and incident investigation experience.
• Strong Data Centre knowledge across HV safety, Civils/MEP, UPS, cooling, fire suppression, commissioning and Tier II–IV environments.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent is highly desirable; IOSH Chartered or Graduate membership is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office / H&S management software required.
