Introduction

Here at La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun! We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking. Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to tailor some of the ideas provided to them related to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.) to their specific groups. We don’t carry out exams and only require teachers to fill out progress reports every trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school programme (occasionally up to 10).

Tasks

Our after‑school programme runs with the following shifts:

• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 17:00‑19:00 (15 € / hr after tax)
• Thursday & Friday 17:30‑19:30 (15 € / hr after tax)
• Saturdays 11:00‑13:00 (20 € / hr after tax)

Minimum 2‑3 shifts per week for permanent positions. We also offer camps and workshops throughout the year, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Permanent shifts (immediate incorporation in Sant Cugat):

• Tuesday & Wednesday 17:00‑19:00 (15 € / hr NET)
• Friday 17:30‑19:30 (15 € / hr NET)

Other nearby schools may have available shifts.

Requirements

• Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids.
• At least six months of experience teaching or working with children professionally.
• Native English accent / C2 English certificate or accent from an English‑speaking country.

Hiring Process

1. Contact via email if your CV passes. 2. Trial class. 3. If we no longer have permanent shifts but you remain interested, you may become a substitute teacher; substitutes are considered first when new permanent shifts become available.
