Coonerang Language School in Arroyomolinos is hiring two English teachers for the 2026–2027 academic year to join our academy. We work with our own structured, dynamic methodology, and we are in a growth phase.

We offer paid initial training, teaching materials, lesson planning support, and academic mentoring throughout the year. Applicants should have a degree or CELTA/TEFL/TESOL, strong English (C1+), and at least one full academic year of classroom teaching, with Mon-Thu 16:00–21:30

Formación

• Experience with ages 6–11, 12–17, or 18+.

Responsabilidades

At Coonerang Language School we are hiring two English teachers to join our academy in Arroyomolinos for the 2026–2027 academic year. We work with our own structured, dynamic methodology, and we are in a growth phase.

We are looking for teachers with real classroom experience, proven pedagogical skills and a clear commitment to be part of a serious educational project throughout the full academic year.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in Education, Teaching, English Philology or English Studies; or accredited CELTA / TEFL / TESOL certification.
• Minimum C1 level of English (C2 / Proficiency / equivalent preferred). Official accreditation or demonstration through internal assessment.
• At least one full academic year of experience teaching English to groups (not exclusively private tutoring).
• Experience with at least two of these age ranges: 6–11, 12–17, 18+.
• Confirmed availability Monday to Thursday between 16:00 and 21:30 throughout the full academic year (September 2026 to June 2027).
• Explicit commitment to continuity until the end of the academic year.
• Openness to internal training, structured methodology and periodic class observation.

We particularly value

• Previous experience teaching at English language academies in Spain.
• Experience preparing students for Cambridge exams (YLE, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced).
• Residence in, or reliable transport to, Arroyomolinos.

What we offer

• Monthly salary band between 800 € and 1200€ gross.
• Workload between 10 and 22 hours per week depending on availability.
• Paid initial training in the Coonerang and Coonerang Cambridge methodology.
• Teaching materials, lesson planning support and academic mentoring throughout the year.
• Career progression into specialised tracks (Cambridge, adults) or coordination roles.

Selection process

Application → initial screening → pedagogical task and short interview → on-site assessment including microteaching → final interview → offer.

We aim to complete the process within approximately 2 to 3 weeks, though timing may vary during peak hiring periods.
