Job summary

AfterQuery invites researchers to turn their own computational research into paid evaluation tasks for AI models. This flexible, independent contractor role targets Bachelor's to PhD students and recent graduates across mechanical, aerospace, chemical, biomedical, civil, environmental, and electrical engineering focused on computational work.

Tasks are paid per approved item ($200 per task, approx. 2 hours).

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding to implement or validate engineering models and solvers.
• Experience with Python for numerical tasks and scripts.
• Ability to turn own research into a clearly defined task with a reference solution and tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and author original research-grade evaluation tasks based on your own computational work.
• Specify metrics for judging solutions without publishing exact passing thresholds.
• Revise tasks based on structured reviews and approvals.
• Optionally review tasks submitted by other experts in the field.
