Job summary

Fever is seeking a talented engineering leader to transition into a management role, guiding a dynamic team responsible for Fever's cross-platform services. You will shape technical direction while growing leadership capabilities and mentoring engineers.

You will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, collaborating with product, design, and operations to ensure alignment and high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving, global environment with a strong bias toward customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams in a high-growth tech environment.
• Proven ability to oversee planning, execution and delivery of software projects.
• Strong communication and people-management skills; coaching and performance evaluation.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies (sprints, peer reviews, testing).

Behind the user-friendly iOS and Android apps and webpage that work across the world is the engineering team. We are in charge of creating, developing, improving, and maintaining all Fever services so that more people can have an amazing experience.

About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to transition into a management role, leading our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our technical direction while growing your leadership skills.

Your task will include:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented software engineers.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

About you

• A passion for mentoring and developing talent.
• Technical education, engineering or similar
• Experience in PHP ie: Symfony, Slim or Laravel.
• Strong communications skills
• Experience in people management, career development and, performance evaluation
• People-focused management
• Experience in assessment tools and metrics
• Nice to have startups experience or company or very fast growth
• Experience applying best practices in technical teams (Agile methodologies, peer reviews, testing, sprints execution…).
• Resourceful, to be able to make informed and well-judged decisions with limitations of knowledge in particular areas.
