We are seeking a highly motivated Expert Software Engineer to join our Map Advanced Analytics team. You will design and build robust data and analytics solutions and platforms to assess map quality at scale, enabling fast, data-driven and cost-effective strategic decision-making.

What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate: Work alongside data scientists and software engineers, providing support and leveraging tools for scalable and sustainable model and data processes. Mentor junior team members to foster their growth
  • Lead: Design, implement, and optimize complex systems, platforms and data processing pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure), focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability
  • Drive: Make informed technical and design decisions, contribute to architectural discussions, and enhance engineering, testing, and operational practices
  • Own: Take full ownership of major projects or project segments, ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability from requirement gathering to production-level implementation
  • Innovate: Lead changes and initiatives within your team and across the organization
What you'll need:
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience in developing production-grade code and end-to-end data analytics projects
  • Proficiency in Software Engineering, Design, and Development in Python; experience with other programming languages can also be valued
  • Strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Testing Frameworks, and Software Development Best Practices
  • Proven ability to simplify complex data structures and solve problems
  • Experience in building efficient and scalable software architectures
  • Experience in collaborative software engineering practices—code reviews, source control, testing, and deployment processes, git. Knowledge of TDD, XP, Pair Programming will also be considered
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Proven experience with cloud technologies like Azure (or AWS, GCP), including architecting and maintaining data processing systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively within an international environment
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Proficiency in machine learning and AI
