Job summary

Cognita Schools’ Meres campus is seeking a qualified nurse to join the health team on a fixed-term basis for afternoon shifts from September to October. You will provide day-to-day medical care, administer prescribed treatments, and respond to medical incidents for pupils aged 3–18.

Fluency in Spanish and English, strong communication, and organizational skills are essential. Experience with children and familiarity with educational settings will be highly valued.

• Qualified nurse with empathy for children and young people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily medical care and administer prescribed treatments.
• Respond to medical incidents and emergencies and ongoing health needs of pupils.
• Maintain confidential medical records and advise staff on health matters.
• Deliver health education initiatives and promote wellbeing across the school.
