Dematic is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to lead detailed layout creation and engineering for conveyor systems in intralogistics. You will perform safety assessments, define interfaces with steel construction and building teams, and develop detailed concepts from sales layouts for customer approval.

Responsibilities include creating BOMs, planning data lists for hardware controls, and coordinating with suppliers on technical details. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Formación

• Graduate engineer / Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 3–5 years of professional experience
• Expertise in project engineering (ideally in intralogistics)
• Expertise in mechanical design (ideally in materials handling)
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed layouts and the customer design freeze approval layouts
• Perform safety assessment of the project scope and identify necessary measures
• Define interfaces with other trades (steel construction, building) and ensure integration
• Create detailed concepts based on sales layout and project requirements
• Develop BOMs and purchase requisitions for Dematic components in SAP
• Provide installation support and handover information to the installation team
