Mindmatch busca un Ingeniero Senior de Sistemas Embebidos para liderar el desarrollo de software embebido, conectividad y arquitectura de sistemas en una HealthTech en crecimiento. Será crucial trabajar entre hardware, software y nube, con enfoque en soluciones end-to-end.

El candidato ideal tiene amplia experiencia en C/C++, Linux y desarrollo de REST APIs, así como experiencia en herramientas de contenedores y CI/CD, y habilidades en inglés profesional.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software, con experiencia en sistemas embebidos.
• Experiencia sólida en C/C++ y Linux para sistemas embebidos.
• Python avanzado para servicios y tooling.
• Diseño y desarrollo de REST APIs y comunicación entre capas.
• Conocimientos de Git, pruebas y prácticas de ingeniería de software.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar software embebido para dispositivos conectados, asegurando rendimiento y escalabilidad.
• Diseñar e implementar comunicación entre hardware, servicios en la nube y apps.
• Desarrollar backend y herramientas internas, principalmente con Python.
• Tomar decisiones de arquitectura entre embebido, backend y nube.
• Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para transformar ideas en soluciones técnicas.
• Tomar propiedad de features desde diseño hasta producción y despliegue.
• Solucionar incidencias complejas entre firmware, servicios y nube.
• Mejorar prácticas de ingeniería y calidad de código.
• Liderar y orientar a otros ingenieros y estandarizar plataformas.

We are currently looking for a

Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

to join their Engineering team and help build the embedded technologies powering the next generation of connected health products.

Mission:

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer , your mission will be to develop and evolve the embedded software, device connectivity and system architecture behind the companys connected technologies.

This is not a traditional embedded engineering role. While your core expertise will be embedded software and connected devices, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to backend services, cloud infrastructure, internal tools and end-to-end system architecture .

You will work closely with Product, Hardware, Backend, AI and Data teams , taking ownership of solutions from concept to production and helping build a technology platform where hardware, software, cloud and AI work seamlessly together.

The Role:

• Developing embedded software for connected devices , ensuring reliability, performance and scalability.
• Designing and implementing communication between hardware, embedded systems, cloud services and applications .
• Building backend services, REST APIs and internal engineering tools , primarily using Python .
• Contributing to software and system architecture decisions across embedded, backend and cloud environments.
• Working closely with Product and multidisciplinary engineering teams to transform product ideas into scalable technical solutions .
• Taking end-to-end ownership of features , from initial design and implementation through deployment and production.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues across firmware, backend services, connectivity and cloud infrastructure .
• Improving engineering practices, development processes and overall code quality .
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code following strong software engineering practices.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.
• Helping shape the engineering foundations and technical standards of the platform as the company scales.

What we need:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience , with significant experience working on embedded systems. More extensive senior-level experience will be highly valued.
• Strong experience developing embedded software using C/C++ or similar languages .
• Excellent development skills in Python .
• Solid experience developing software for Linux-based embedded systems .
• Experience working with Linux development environments and Bash scripting .
• Familiarity with Qt5 for embedded or desktop applications.
• Experience with Yocto or similar embedded Linux build systems .
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as BLE, UART, SPI, I²C, MQTT, TCP/IP and HTTP/REST .
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs .
• Experience working with Docker, containers and CI/CD pipelines .
• Solid knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows .
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices , including testing, code reviews and maintainable software design.
• Strong software architecture and problem-solving skills .
• Ability and interest in working across different layers of the technology stack, from embedded software and hardware communication to backend and cloud.
• Professional English level .
