SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG in Spain near Barcelona is seeking an embedded software engineer to join the Software & Electronics Team. You will develop software for mechatronic products across lifecycle and collaborate with colleagues in Germany.

The role emphasizes architecture evolution, expanding functionality for hardware and peripherals, and evaluating new technologies from prototype to production. Fluency in Spanish and English is expected.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Initial hands-on experience in embedded software development.
• Proficient in an object-oriented language, ideally C++ and basic Git knowledge.
• Team player with a passion for new technologies and hands-on product development.
• Spanish and English proficiency; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded software for mechatronic products across the full lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation and testing.
• Evolve software architecture and expand functionality for hardware, peripherals, and kinematics.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation projects from prototype to production.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams in Germany.
