SATLANTIS, headquartered in Leioa (Bizkaia, Spain), is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to develop and maintain embedded software for our satellites. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, from implementation to testing and updates, ensuring reliability for space missions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, integration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, mission-driven environment near the UPV/EHU campus, with opportunities for growth in aerospace

Formación

• Experience developing software for embedded systems, onboard computers, or resource-constrained environments.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ with Python as a plus.
• Familiarity with software integration, debugging, testing, and hardware/software interaction.
• Academic or professional background in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to investigate issues and work methodically in complex environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded flight software for satellite systems and space missions.
• Implement software components for onboard computers and embedded platforms.
• Work with C, C++, and Python depending on system requirements.
• Integrate, debug, and validate software in embedded environments across development and missions.
• Contribute to software updates and improvements for satellite systems.
• Perform software testing, document results, and resolve issues for reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and payload engineers throughout the lifecycle.
• Work with Linux-based development environments and tools.
