dormakaba is expanding its embedded software team in the Community of Madrid, Spain, to build future-proofed access control products. You will develop, maintain and evolve embedded firmware across the Automatic Access Solutions portfolio and migrate to the Zephyr-based ECPLA platform.

Join a team delivering reliable, secure firmware across hardware interfaces, with UK/EU collaboration and high-profile deployments worldwide. Experience in ARM Cortex-M, RTOS, and Zephyr is highly valued.

Formación

• 3–5 years in embedded firmware development on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience with at least one RTOS.
• Comfortable with embedded debugging (SWD/JTAG, logic analyser, oscilloscope) and reading schematics/datasheets.
• Working knowledge of Git and embedded build/toolchain workflows.
• Business English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C for Automatic Access Solutions.
• Work with Keil MDK and FreeRTOS while migrating to Zephyr-based ECPLA platform.
• Learn Zephyr devicetree, Kconfig, and West toolchain for integration.
• Write unit tests and support hardware–software integration tests.
• Bring up hardware–software integration and debugging.
