Job summary

JD Logistics, part of JD.com, is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer in Madrid to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in our advanced logistics facilities. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality performance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (IEC, NEC), and safety regulations.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with LV and MV distribution, MCCs, and PLCs.
• Familiarity with power quality analysis, grounding systems, and surge protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift heavy objects as required.
• Valid electrical license or certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise installation of electrical systems (power, lighting, control systems) per JD.com specs.
• Perform pre-installation site surveys and assist with installation plans and schematics.
• Test and commission new electrical equipment for safety and performance compliance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues; perform preventive maintenance on infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain records of installations, maintenance, and repairs with technical drawings.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated with latest electrical technologies and regulations.
